Soul Singer Phototographs

How they find me, I’m not quite sure – but for some reason I always seem to attract the exact type of musician: artsy, bohemian, folksy – in search of something different for their photos. For this shoot, the plan was to shoot at Playa del Rey – but as I was getting on the freeway on ramp I practically screeched to a halt by the side of the on ramp when I saw the gorgeous wildflowers growing by the side of the road and the phenomenal light streaming through them. We did a huge 10 minute detour to get back onto the freeway and loop back to the on ramp but WOW was it worth it! All the shots you see here with the blue flowers are just right smack next to the on ramp!
